Out of 8 boxes of boosters I was consistent. I got 0 steals and I got 0 distracts. Luckily I got 2 distracts out of my box of starters....but still no steals. I think the demo decks were my best buy as I got one of each in the Amanda demo deck. Don't you just love the collation.

I've got you beat on collation issues. Out of 4 boxes of the expansion there is a series of 5 common cards that I only got 2 sets of. That equals just barely 2% of my commons.

That happened to me. Of the 5 sets of commons in the expansion, I got 1 of those sets only once.

Hugh finally won on BZ 2-15!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It came down to two Hugh's in the final and instead of playing we rock/paper/scissors due to time constraints. (Loser had to win 4, winners bracket had to win 2 in order to win). So for now I can go on and play somebody else since Hugh is no longer shut out.

Yaaaay!
... but Rock Paper Scissors?
Surely there's a better way... maybe a "wounded immortal" scenario where you start with 5 ability (Optional first blood?)

What can I say we are lazy. Maybe someday in the future we'll help come up with better rules for that sort of thing.

Ok got updated for Bz tourney 022207 and Vision Con. As you can see Amanda actually managed to squeak in a win before the Zack or Felice.

I'm curious about Xavier, as it seems to me that he should be winning a wee bit more. Do people show up specifically armed to face cheese (lots of Foileds for instance)?

Its not that people are cheese proofing their decks, but from what I have seen the top players are not playing Xavier regularly. As well, Xavier gas cheese is able to be slowed or stopped by people who know how to play against him. For instance, removing the first part of poison gas to give you some more breathing room, etc.

OK updated this post for 3 tournies that have taken place since last post. Duncan won lean and mean with a headshot against Grayson (which he needed considering he was in losers). Grayson gets props from that tourney for the SECOND TURN EXHAUSTION of an opponent. The next two tournies saw Grayson get on top of the winner's bracket and beat blaine after being the one to knock him to the losers bracket the first time around.
