First off, you have no toolbox cards. The generic answer is you need at least one copy of each dual icon toolbox card. You also have no Alertness. There is no Location control in the deck, which I can guarantee is a MUST in a competitive deck. For Damon I recommend The Circle.
Without really breaking down the deck, these are the biggest problems I see

Ok, so Alertness, the Circle, any other toolboxes I need?

Like I said, the dual icon cards (Focus/Police, etc etc) are a must. You might also look at Edge cards that protect against holes you might perceive in your deck or strategies you think enemies might employ

As a rule, toolbox cards are Edges, but not always. Cards like Protected Resouces and Spiritual Center can also be considered as toolbox. Part of deck design is building a toolbox that works for your play style.

Ok.
So, question: there's a lot of Alertness. When you say "dual icon" what do you mean? Remember, I don't know some of this terminology. I see the "can block/dodge un-blockable/dodgeable" Alertness. I see the benefit there. Same with Focus/Police. I see how it works.
The Circle, again I see.
I'm running On The Offensive as a solution for "can't attack" decks. Damon feels very aggressive, like I want to throw out as many attacks as possible as fast as possible.

The key to toolbox , in my opinion, when building for a big event like GenCon, is to have an INTIMATE knowledge of your deck. You have to look at it and understand its strengths and weaknesses. With this knowledge, you then formulate your toolbox. The hardest decision is often what hole you leave open in your deck, what you feel either won't be at the game or that you can overcome if it is.

Fair enough. I'll just have to put the time in I guess.
Question about Damon Case's persona: When it says Counter: Dodge, does it mean any of these four? Counter (Duck) Dodge: Duck Counter (Jump) Dodge: Jump Counter (Left Sidestep) Dodge: Sidestep Counter (Right Sidestep)Dodge: Sidestep

No, it's title becomes simply Counter:Dodge. It won't activate an effect for something that requires a Counter:Jump, for instance.

Oh.
So it's simply a title swap.

Looking at the deck list, I would drop Leofrics Advice and Challenge Refused, and drop Leather Gloves to 1. This will free up room for your toolbox. Leofrics is useful when you have several Standing Defenses, but is useless for just one. Challenge Refused is a meta card, useful if you know opponents play a lot of Attribute Checks and Challenges.

When you add your Alertness's be wary of your gem count. Same with the dual icon toolbox. There are different versions with different gems. Always try to max out at least one gem. Always someone with prone and disarm shenanigans. AKAlex I'm looking at you! It's not everyone's goal, but you have no way to make a Head Shot. Is your UC Basic the promo? I'd urge you to get (or add) the UC promo attack, the LLA and LRA promos for retrieval, and possibly if gem count allows the Distract promo. Insightful Planning (Special) is also nice, a couple Versus would be good if you don't have a full set of dual icon toolbox. But again watch the gems. I look forward to seeing the deck in action, maybe between events at Indy we can sit down for a couple games. Best of luck with the build.

Where does one get the UC Promos? I didn't know there was various options.

When you order prize packs from Dallis, ask for older ones or even specific ones. We still have older prize packs for groups who weren't around back then.

How in the Blue H*ll did I get lumped into this I'm Captain courteous. Always offering up my head to others. Always making sure kurganfan is aware of all undergarments I am wearing or not wearing at all times. Making sure to keep him abreast of ALL hygienic situations (shaved or unshaved)... NOT fair! kurganfan
