Hey guys,
I've been out of the loop for a very long time regarding the highlander card game.
i see references and rules to "3rd Edition"
what is this 3rd edition to the game?
how does it play compared to first and second ed?
what cards are legal for 3rd edit?
it's all really confusing to me.
as I'm still stuck on first and second ed rules.
thanks team! - Tsutomu.

You are in luck. 3rd Edition was short lived, the company instead went back to 2nd Edition and is currently releasing new 2nd Edition product. 3rd Edition was identifiable by being Black Bordered, and having a few rules and Icons not used in 2nd or 1st Edition. 3rd Edition only allowed you to play with OTHER 3rd Edition cards. Luckily, you can use 3rd Edition cards in Type Two (they have to be sleeved) along with your 2nd Edition cards, as they are compatible with one another in that format.

What is type 1 and type 2? Thanks for the clarification Type One are the rules allowing for the playing of cards from 1e, 2e, 3e and Black Raven. Type Two are the rules allowing for the playing of cards from 2e and 3e.

I literally, was about to ask what 3rd edition was, also. Good job!

But then how do the roll checks or attribute checks work in those formats?
I'm assuming a lot of The content is restricted to 2nd edition play due to the circular icon.

Type One does not allow cards that use Attribute Checks (they have a special icon in them to indicate this) A very small percentage of cards have the BUG (as this icon is called). Only Kit O'Brady has a persona and persona specific cards mostly centered around Attributes.
